Project overview

CZIMT is a public vocational college in Changzhou, China. Its international website introduces practical programmes, student life and the steps to apply.

My role

UI/UX Designer

What I designed

I designed the international student website, including programme pages, admissions information and campus life. I built reusable layouts and components to keep the experience consistent.

The problem

“Hey Ishan, we need a website that helps international students understand our practical programmes, picture life here and know how to apply.”

The process

Find what applicants need to decide.

Review vocational college websites for course explanations, admissions and campus stories. Collect references that make technical subjects feel approachable.

Result

A content checklist and visual direction.

The solution

Show what students will learn

Programme cards explain the skills and practical training behind each course, helping students connect a subject with their interests.

Keep admission answers together

Requirements, fees, scholarships and dates are grouped in one overview, so students can check the essentials before going deeper.

Break applying into four clear steps

The journey moves from choosing a programme to checking eligibility, preparing documents and submitting an application.

Key product decisions

Explain the skills, not just the course name.

Answer admission questionsbefore asking students to apply.

Make studying abroadfeel easier to picture.

Results and learning

The result

An international student website that connects practical study options, campus life and application guidance in one place.

What I learned

A course name does not tell the whole story. Showing the skills, training environment and next steps helps students make a more informed choice.
